The Eagles arrived at Nat Holman Gymnasium at the City College of New York and sputtered out of the gate with only 11 points in the first set behind a pedestrian 6 kills.  After a 20-25 loss in the second set, the offense finally emerged for a total of 44 kills across the last three sets with hitting efficiencies of .238, .317, and .381 in the deciding 5th set.

Sienna Volpe (15 kills for 15 match points), Onyé Bosco (14 kills for 19.5 match points), and Isabella Scirica (13 kills for 13 match points) led the balanced attack supported by Kristina Ashton's 50 assists.  Ashton also added 16 digs on the defensive end joined by Gianna Rizzolo's 15 digs and 3 aces.

The Eagles have a quick turn around and a tough match lined up with in-conference opponent Keystone College. They are one of 5 teams in the Skye division currently at 3-2.  They play at home on Saturday, October 21st at 1pm.
