Kodi Peters (Bergenfield, N.J./Bergenfield) finished with a match-high 10 kills at the College of Saint Elizabeth men's volleyball team cruised past Brooklyn College in a non-conference contest inside Luing Gym on Wednesday night. Set scores were 25-18, 25-20, 25-20.
The Eagles (5-4) were excellent on defense and limited Brooklyn (4-4) to a negative .013 hitting percentage overall. On the offensive end, freshman outside hitter
Joseph Ceciliano (Union, N.J./Union) finished with seven kills and three service aces, while freshman opposite
James Bonilla (West New York, N.J./Bloomfield) totaled two kills, two service aces, and one block in one set off the bench.
The balanced team effort from the Eagles so far this season has paid off well so far this season for head coach
Bill Condon, and the team will be tested with a home tri-match on Saturday, Feb. 15. Saint Elizabeth hosts Pratt at 9 a.m. and Wilson at 1 p.m.
