Rosemont, Pa. – The College of Saint Elizabeth men's basketball team trailed by six at the half, but opened the final frame on a 15-2 run to spark an 85-81 comeback victory at reigning conference tournament champion Rosemont on Monday night.
Saint Elizabeth (8-5, 4-1 CSAC) shot 53.3 percent (16-for-30) in the second half including 46.2 percent (6-for-13) from three-point range. Rosemont (5-10, 2-2 CSAC) cut the Saint Elizabeth lead to 83-81 with 1:50 remaining in the game, but could not connect on its next three shots, and the Eagles added a fastbreak layup in the final seconds to seal the win.
An incredible six different players scored in double figures for the Eagles, led by senior guard
Jason Saldiveri (New Brunswick, N.J./South Brunswick), who had 17 points along with five rebounds and five assists.

Darnill Brown (Bordentown, N.J./Bordentown) contributed 16 points on 6-of-11 shooting, while senior
Cam Tucker (Columbus, N.J./Northern Burlington) poured in 15 points. The Eagles were 14-for-15 (93.3 percent) from the free throw line, out-rebounded Rosemont 40-28, and had a 14-2 advantage in second chance points.
