MORRISTOWN, N.J. - The College of Saint Elizabeth's women's tennis team (1-9, 0-5 NEAC) earned its first win of the season with a 9-0 victory over York College on Thursday afternoon.
Gissel Escalante and
Yasmin'na Muhammad earned the win at first doubles, 8-4.
Quawntashea Bailey and
Jess Waldeyer were victorious 8-1 at second singles while
Damaris King and
Sarai Santiago earned the 8-0 win at third doubles.
Escalante earned her sixth win of the season at first singles, winning 8-3. Bailey, Waldeyer,
Kamani Williams and
Orezia Logus all rolled to 6-0, 6-0 wins while Muhammad earned the win at third singles, 6-1, 6-0.
Escalante, Logus, Santiago, and Muhammad will all take part in the NEAC Tournament beginning on Saturday.
