MORRISTOWN, N.J. - The College of Saint Elizabeth's women's basketball team (14-8, 12-4 NEAC) fell in the first round of the NEAC Postseason Playoffs, 65-47 on Tuesday evening.
Kamille Jacobs led the Eagles with a game high 23 points. Â In her final game as an Eagle,
Deja Ingram finished with 11 points, seven rebounds and three steals.
After the Nittany Lions took a 10-5 lead in the second quarter, the Eagles scored five of the next seven to get within 12-10.  The Eagles managed to get within 201-9 however th Nittany Lions scored the final eight points of the half to take a 28-19 lead into the break.
CSE started the second half strong, scoring nine of the first 11 of the first 17 points to get within 34-30. Â Both teams played even over the next six minutes as Abington took a 43-39 lead into the final quarter.
Abington used a 14-2 run over the first five minutes to open up a 57-41 lead. Â The Eagles continued to battle over the final four minutes, but could not mount a comeback before falling, 65-47.
The Eagles season comes to an end with a 12-4 mark in the conference, its best in program history.
