WASHINGTON, D.C. - The College of Saint Elizabeth's women's basketball team (8-6, 7-3 NEAC) dropped a conference game at Gallaudet University, 82-69 on Wednesday evening.
Deja Ingram led the Eagles with her eight double-double of the season, finishing with 24 points and 10 rebounds.
Kamille Jacobs added 19 points, nine rebounds and six assists while
Maria DeVincenzo chipped in with 13 points and seven rebounds.
CSE and the Bison battled back in forth in the first half as Gallaudet took a 38-37 lead into the break. The Eagles held Gallaudet to 36.7% from the floor and forced eight turnovers in the half.
To end the third quarter, the Bison opened up a six-point lead heading into the final 10 minutes. CSE could not find a rally in the fourth quarter before dropping the game, 82-69.
The Eagles look to rebound on Saturday when it hosts Wells College at 1 pm.
