PURCHASE, N.Y. - The College of Saint Elizabeth's cross county teams participated in the Purchase College Invitational on Saturday afternoon.

The women's team finished in 12th place with a total score of 385.  Karyn Shimazu paced the Eagles, running the 6k in a time of 35:45.6.  Miranda Alicea was not far behind, finishing in a time of 36:18.8.

On the men's side, the Eagles finished in 12th place in the 8k race.  Jordan Wilson finished with a top time on the team of 41:34.6.  Running in his first ever race, freshman Daniel Chavez finished in a time of 44:24.8.

The Eagles return to action on September 22 when it takes part in the Osprey Open hosted by Stockton University.
