BROOKLYN, N.Y. - The College of Saint Elizabeth's men's soccer team (1-1, 0-0 NEAC) earned its first victory of the season, defeating Pratt Institute 3-1 on Sunday afternoon.

After Pratt opened with the first goal of the match at the 15:00 mark, the Eagles got it right back 10 minutes later as Garrett Valentino put home his first goal as an Eagle to square the game at one.  With just under three minutes remaining in the first half, Nick Riggio scored his second goal of the season off an assist from Luis Salazar to give the Eagles a 2-1 halftime lead.

With two minutes remaining in the contest, Riggio put home his second goal of the game off a penalty kick rebound to give the Eagles the 3-1 victory.

In the win, Brian Hernandez earned his first career win in net, finishing the match with five saves.
