EDISON, N.J. - The College of Saint Elizabeth's women's tennis team (0-1, 0-0 NEAC) fell to Goucher College in its season opener, 9-0 on Friday afternoon.

In first singles, playing in her first ever collegiate match, Gissel Escalante played the match of the day, a back-and-forth affair before falling in a tie breaking set, 2-1 (1-6, 6-3, 8-10).  Kassandra Ortiz fell in second singles 2-0 (0-6, 2-6).
