READING, Pa. - The College of Saint Elizabeth's women's basketball team (7-16, 4-11 NEAC) fell in its final road game at Penn State Berks, 82-74 on Wednesday evening.
Deja Ingram tallied her 15th double-double of the season, finishing with 21 points and 16 rebounds.
Kamille Jacobs added 20 points while
Rakiyah Sellers finished with 19.
Berks controlled much of the first quarter, leading by as many as 10. To start the second period, the Eagles scored the first eight points to slice the deficit to 27-25. Despite the Nittany Lions regaining a 10 point lead, the Eagles continued to battle, getting back within four, heading into halftime.
CSE battled in a tough third quarter, however, Berks scored seven of the final nine points to take a 61-51 lead into the final quarter. In the final 10 minutes, the Eagles managed to get back within four, but could not get any closer, dropping the contest, 82-74.
The Eagles return to action for its season finale on Saturday when it hosts Wilson College at 2 pm.
