Men's Soccer Races Past Valley Forge

MORRISTOWN, N.J. - The College of Saint Elizabeth's men's soccer team (3-10, 0-7 NEAC) used a strong first half to race past the University of Valley Forge, 5-1 on Wednesday afternoon.

In the first half, Nick Riggio put home his ninth goal of the season to give the Eagles a 1-0 lead.  Ten Minutes later, Raul Galindo Rojas connected on a penalty kick to give the Eagles a 2-0 lead.  Later in the half, Imad Gado knocked home his fifth goal of the season to give the Eagles a 3-0 lead heading into halftime. 

In the second half, Galindo Rojas connected for his second penalty goal of the game, opening up a 4-0 lead for the Eagles.  Following a Valley Forge goal, Imad Gado scored his second goal of the game with a minute remaining, capping off the 5-1 win for the Eagles.

Brian Hernandez earned his third win in goal for the Eagles, saving seven shots.

CSE returns to action on Saturday when it hosts Wells College on senior day.
