DALLAS, P.A. - The College of Saint Elizabeth's men's volleyball team (1-3, 0-0 NEAC) earned its first win in program history over Neumann University as part of the Cougar Kick-off Classic hosted by Misericordia University over the weekend.
In the third match of the classic, the Eagles defeated Neumann, 3-1 (14-25, 25-22, 26-24, 25-12). The win marked the first victory in program history.
On Friday, CSE fell to Penn State Altoona, 3-0 (6-25, 16-25, 15-25) and 3-0 (15-25, 26-28, 14-25) to Hiram College. In the final match of the day on Saturday, the Eagles were defeated by host Misericordia, 3-0 (20-25, 14-25, 19-25).
Over the four matches,
Josh Ramos finished with 38 kills on 104 attacks, four assists, and three service aces. With his solid performance, Ramos was named to the All-Tournament team.
Chino Singalivo had 63 assists and six service aces while
Justin Millan finished with 24 kills and two assists.
CSE returns to action on January 28 when it travels to York NY for a quad match beginning at 12 pm.
