Morristown, N.J. - The College of Saint Elizabeth's men's soccer team (0-6-1, 0-1 NEAC) dropped a home match to Sarah Lawrence, 7-0 on Wednesday afternoon.
The Gryphons from Sarah Lawrence scored three quick goals to take a 3-0 lead ten minutes into the first half. CSE had its best scoring chance of the half off a corner kick, but it was sent just high off a header. Sarah Lawrence added two more goals in the first half to take a 5-0 lead into halftime.
The second half saw the Eagles get eight shots off, including four on goal, but were unable to convert. The Gryphons added a goal at the 17 minute mark and one at the five minute mark, taking the contest, 7-0.
CSE returns to action on Saturday when it travels to Lancaster Bible for an 11:30 am kickoff.
