UNION, N.J. - The College of Saint Elizabeth's men's basketball team (2-8, 0-4 NEAC) was defeated in a non-conference game to Kean University, 90-74 on Saturday afternoon.
Tino Gonzalez lead the Eagles with 21 points, knocking down five of his seven three-pointer attempts. Â
Kar'ron Johnson finished with a career high 20 points, while
Roland Romano added 10 points and 12 rebounds.
Despite facing a large deficit at halftime, the Eagles outscored Kean, 49-39 in the second half.  CSE finished with 30 defensive rebounds compared to Kean's 26 and shot 44.3% from the floor.
Following a three-week layoff for Christmas break, the Eagles return to action on January 6th when it takes on New Rochelle at the Barclays Center.
