Men's Soccer Downed by Berkeley

Morristown, N.J. - The College of Saint Elizabeth's men's soccer team (0-8-1, 0-2 NEAC) was beaten on a non-conference home matchup to Berkeley College, 6-1 on Wednesday afternoon.

The Knights from Berkeley scored two goals in the first 15 minutes of the game to take an early 2-0 lead. The Eagles offense stalled in the first half, unable to get any shots on goal. The Knights managed to add another goal in the half to take a 3-0 lead into halftime.

After Berkley add two early goals in the second half, Raul Galindo Rojas put home his third goal of the season off an assist from Kevin Canseco to get the Eagles on the board. CSE could not manage any other offense in the second half, dropping the contest, 6-1.

The Eagles return to action on Saturday when it travels to SUNY Poly for a 12 pm start.
