MORRISTOWN, N.J. - The College of Saint Elizabeth's men's soccer team (0-15-1, 0-9 NEAC) fell in a conference matchup to Penn State Abington, 7-0 on Wednesday afternoon.
The NEAC leading Nittany Lions scored early and often, netting four goals in the first 15 minutes. CSE managed to get three shots off in the half, but could not convert on any. The Nittany Lions added two additional goal in the half to take a 6-0 lead into halftime.Â
CSE's defense was much better in the second half, allowing just three shots on goal, with two being saved by
Jason Pineda. The Eagles offense had scoring chances in the half, getting off six shots, with three being on goal, all saved by Abington. Abington added a goal in the final two minutes to take the contest, 7-0.
CSE returns to action for the final game of the season when it hosts Gallaudet University on Saturday at 12 pm.
