Jersey City, N.J. - The College of Saint Elizabeth's women's volleyball team (3-3, 0-0 NEAC) had its three game win streak snapped by NJCU, 3-0 (22-25, 16-25, 22-25) on Thursday afternoon.
After falling behind 2-0, the Eagles jumped out to a 5-0 lead in the third set. After NJCU narrowed the gap, the Eagles scored back to back points to take a 19-15 lead. Despite a four point lead, NJCU rallied off the next six points to open up a two-point lead. CSE could not mount a rally, dropping the final set, 25-22.
Julia Misiejuk finished with a game high 10 kills.
Yasmin'na Muhammad added seven kills and three aces while
Nicole Morera had a game high 22 assists.
CSE returns to action this weekend when they travel to Bryn Athyn for this first NEAC weekend of the season.
