Morristown, N.J. – The College of Saint Elizabeth's lacrosse team (0-10, 0-7 NEAC) dropped an out of conference game to the University of Dallas, 18-2 on Sunday afternoon.
The Crusaders from Dallas, Texas scored the first 3 goals of the game to take a 3-0 lead. Dallas would add 4 more goals before
Amanda Inacio scored the first goal of the game for the Eagles off an assist from
Kassandra Ortiz to get the Eagles to within 7-1. Dallas would add 2 more goals to take a 9-1 halftime lead.
In the second half, freshman
Jasmine Brown put home her first goal of the season off a deflection to get the Eagles to within 9-2. Dallas would end up adding 9 goals in the second half to take the game 18-2.
Sarah Briant had 15 saves in net while Ortiz had a team high 5 ground balls.
The Eagles return to action on Wednesday when the host Centenary College at 4 pm.
