Great Neck, N.Y.- The College of Saint Elizabeth's lacrosse team (0-6, 0-4 NEAC) fell behind early and couldn't comeback, falling at Merchant Marine 15-1 on Wednesday night.
Merchant Marine scored 6 goals in the first 6 minutes to take an early 6-0 lead. The Eagles struggled on offense in the first half, unable to get any points on the board. Merchant Marine would add 5 more goals in the half to take an 11-0 lead into the break.
Merchant Marine would score the first 4 goals of the second half to open up a 15-0 lead. With 2:40 remaining in the game,
Kassandra Ortiz scored her 2nd goal of the season. The Eagles would be unable to score any more goals, dropping the game 15-1.
