Morristown, N.J.- The College of Saint Elizabeth's soccer team battled tough on Think Pink Day, before falling to The King's College 16-0 on Sunday.
King's College got on the board quickly, scoring just 29 seconds into the game to take a 1-0 lead. The Lady Lions added another goal just a minute later to extend the lead to 2. King's College would add 3 more quick goals to open the lead up to 5. Emmanuella Dorcent would have the best scoring chance of the half, just missing a shot wide of the net. King's College would add 3 more goals before the break to take an 8-0 lead into half.
King's College picked up where they left off in the first half, scoring 3 more quick goals to take an 11-0 lead. Carla Martinez, who took over in goal in the second half, had 5 saves for the Eagles. King's would add 5 more goals in the half to win the game 16-0.
The Eagles return to action on Friday when they host St. Joseph's Brooklyn at 3 pm.
