Morristown, N.J.- The College of Saint Elizabeth's soccer team dropped a tough NEAC conference to Morrisville State, 9-0 on Sunday.
Mariah Lavornia continued her strong play in net early, making a nice sliding save to keep the game scoreless. The Eagles had trouble containing the Mustangs Krista Baxter, as she scored 4 quick goals just 20 minutes into the game.  Grace Bailey would try and lead the Eagles comeback, getting 3 shots off, with 2 being saved by Morrisville's keeper. The Mustangs would add another goal before half to take a 6-0 lead into the break. Lavnoria finished with 14 saves in the first half, a season high for a half.
Grace Bailey, who replaced Lavornia in net after suffering an injury late in the first half, made a tough save early in the half to keep the score at 6-0. Â The Mustangs would tack on another goal before Bailey made another beautiful save, a diving stop to her left to keep the deficit at 7. Â Morrisville would end up adding 2 more goals to take the game 9-0.
The Eagles return to action on Saturday when they travel to Wells to take on the express at 2 pm.
