Alyssa Vega has been named Eagle of the Week after a solid week on the mound for the Eagles.  Vega finished with a 1-2 record in three appearances for the Eagles. She earned the win after tossing three innings of one-run ball in a 9-8 win over New England College on March 5. Vega turned in another solid outing in a 1-0 loss on March 7, allowing an unearned run on four hits with four strikeouts against Emmanuel. She surrendered three earned runs on the week and struck out 10 in 14 2/3 innings with a 1.43 ERA.
