Genesis Sanchez has been named Eagle of the Week after helping the Eagles to a 4-2 week in Florida.  The freshman shortstop finished with a .360 batting average and had nine hits in six games, including her first career home run on March 8 that gave the Eagles the lead in a 7-6 win over Pitt.-Greenburg. Sanchez also came through in the clutch with a two-run single to cap off a six-run comeback in a 7-6 win against New England College. She finished the week with nine RBIs and five runs scored.
